It's been two weeks now and no more cars! It's used to be at least 5 during the day and 1 every other night. Weekends were worse. I still can't believe two weeks have passed and not even one car!

Apartmaent Parking
So sick of damn people stealing my apartment spot.
I'm leaving handwritten signs and I've complained to management. Keeps happening. Now what?
Apparently it's against the law for tow companies to just come take them away.

I live in NJ. access road. The driveway is set up for our kids play on. There's a tree swing that swings across the driveway that was here previously. One day car flew into our driveway, almost hitting my daughter .I had to tell my kids to stop playing to let these cars go down.
We had a family cookout yesterday and parked cars down the driveway because some of the older folks couldn't walk down the hill from the top. I don't understand why people use our driveway with all the signs we have up. It sounds bad but ,we don't taxes to let other people use what we pay for. We chose this house do to the privacy and "safe yard". My daughter has to get off of her swing to let a car come into our driveway.
Can we put anything across the driveway without asking anyone?
No.

" Specifics of the law vary, but generally, intruding on another person's driveway without permission, especially if the property has gates and fences or signage indicating "No Trespassing" or "Private Property". The trespass may be by a person or their vehicle.
Successful enforcement of trespassing happens when steps taken by the homeowner make it abundantly clear that vehicles are not welcome on their driveway. Make it clear where your driveway meets the street to prevent vehicles from trespassing over the driveway.
Fences and gates are expensive. Orange cones, milk crates, chains ugly and require you to get in and out of your car when you leave and return home.Signs are for the most part, ignored.
Drivewayspikes are low profile and very effective. Our customers report 100% effective.
Driveways are private property. Declare yours as a no trespassing zone.

My home is on a fairly busy street and lately I've had people actually using my circular driveway to make u-turns.
It wouldn't be so bad... except to say my driveway goes around my house not in front of it.
Is there anything I can do... short of installing a fence... to keep these intruders out???

So this is a bit peevy. I know. But I have a constant problem of people turning around in my driveway. I am the first driveway on a back road off a heavily traveled state road, so my driveway is a natural place for people to turn around. I guess I wouldn't really mind it except its not an easy driveway because it is a deceptive angle and has rock walls on both sides. This morning a SUV with boat trailer decided to make the turn around in my driveway and there was no way he was going to back a trailer out without going onto the lawn (his fatal error was pulling in, rather than backing in). The guy tore up the lawn and I had to help him unhitch and move his boat trailer off my lawn. He apologized and I could tell he felt bad, it was a mistake, but my driveway is not a public road. This is not the first time and it wont be the last.
